Codux AI is opinionated: it is the native terminal built around your AI coding CLIs, not a replacement editor. These features are the core experience.

5	Built-in Git	Git panel for clone, branches, staging, diffs, commits, history, remotes, push / pull / sync, and revision restore.
6	Project File Browser	Per-project file manager. Preview and edit files, rename, move, reveal, and insert paths into the terminal.
7	Worktree Workspaces	Projects, task worktrees, terminals, files, Git state, and AI sessions stay tied together.
8	AI Memory	Local SQLite memory with user habits, project overview, project notes, relevant recall, and app-private launch files.
9	Phone Handoff	Codux Mobile shares desktop terminal sessions over the Iroh transport — direct peer-to-peer when possible, with a relay fallback you simply select — plus files, uploads, and AI stats.
10	Web Tunnel Browser	Preview host-local web apps, localhost dev servers, WebSocket, and HMR through the encrypted remote-host link. Requires Codux 2.0 or later.
11	AI CLI Support	Deep, first-class support for Codex, Claude Code, OpenCode, Kiro, CodeWhale, Kimi Code, MiMo-Code, and Agy, with more added over time.
12	Secure Connections	SSH profiles with codux-ssh and database profiles with codux-db keep credentials outside AI CLI prompts. More secure connectors are on the roadmap.
